Focus on the Family Connect with Your Grandkids: Fun Ways to Bridge the Miles

Create a lasting bond with your grandchildren by learning new ways to connect. In this hectic, busy world we live in today, it can be hard to see your grandkids even if they live down the street, never mind miles away. Author Cheri Fuller learned ways to bridge the miles when several of her grandchildren moved away. Her ideas - from text messaging to making photo albums - will spur you on as you learn fun, new ways to relate. Recommended by Focus on the Family; paperback.

I've really enjoyed reading this book. It has so many great ideas to use with my grand children who live a great distance from me. I like the comments and stories added by other grandparents sharing ideas they have used. I wish I had marked pages with the many ideas I want to try as I went along. I will do that when I read the book a second time. This one's a keeper!

I haven't finished the book, but I like it so far. It is written by a grandMOTHER, so most of the ideas I have encountered so far are female things to do, bake cookies, etc. Grandpa is only mentioned in passing. but many of the ideas will work for granddads also. I like the ideas, especially the comments from others which she includes. There are many of these so you get a large variety of ideas from all walks of life (lifestyles). I think the ladies will like it.

This book has been an incredible blessing with practical ideas to enrich grandparenting opportunities. The hardest thing is not wanting to do them all at once. I am so grateful to find this wonderful book and have given many to fellow Grandmothers!!!!
