NavPress How Can I Be Sure I'm a Christian

Nearly everyone hopes to end up in Heaven one day. In fact, 99% of Americans believe they'll eventually reside there. Yet the Bible claims that only a few will find the "road that leads to eternal life." So how can anyone be sure of spending eternity with Jesus Christ? In this book Whitney explores the issue of assurance and outlines how Christians can experience a satisfying certainity of eternal life. If occasional doubts prevent you from fully experiencing the security and peace that Christ offers, you'll enjoy the clear assurances offered here. By countering a broad range of doubts with a clear, scriptural basis for confidence, Whitney provides encouragement for believers and gentle warnings to those who base their confidence in themselves rather than in God.

This is the best book on assurance I have ever read! the author covers the subject very well and from a bibical perspective that combats the "easy believism" that is so common today in evangelical circles. I have given this book to many friends to read. Great book and so needed today. It has helped me so much.

Recently I was questioning my salvation also. I was assured that I was saved, but began to doubt my salvation. I read this book and it answered all my questions. If anyone doubts his/her salvation, this book will reassure you. I would also recommend the Eternity Series by Erwin Lutzer(1) One Minute after You Die (2)How you can be sure that you will spend Eternity with God, and (3) You Eternal Reward

As a chronic pain sufferer there are many "side-effects" a person wouldn't think about. One of mine was not feeling secure in my salvation. This book answered all of my questions and gave much-needed peace of mind.
