I used this book along with another one on prayer as a study with 16 women. They very much enjoyed this book and felt like it really spoke to them. The prayers at the end of each chapter were very meaningful.

My hair stylist expressed to me that someone gave her this book however, she lost it. She was dissapointed. I decided to surprise her for Christmas by giving her one. This book is so COMPELLING and provides such wonderful INSIGHT that my small group and I could not put it down. I can tell you that it has taken my PRAYER LIFE to another level, which of course has taken MY WALK to another level. She addresses so many REAL LIFE challenges in prayer that it makes it real that NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE in CHRIST. Thanks so much.

It is an excellent book for busy women. Each chapter is short, but has a lot to think about. The study guide is a good companion to this to bring out more thoughts and becoming closer to God. It is a good study for a small group or a ladies group to interact with. There is a lot of scripture that supports the study.

This book has had a life-changing impact on my thought processes. It has reintroduced me to God and convinced me that He loves me. It has reintroduced me to myself and filled me with potential and hope. It has reintroduced me to the subtle work of the enemy and his desire to keep me derailed and defeated. Talk about a book that changed my life for the better!! This is one of those types of books not a self help book per say but a book that changed my prayer life and opened up doors I did not know I could open with my prayers. I always knew how to say a basic prayer but to actually pray for myself and my life I did not know how to do. Stormie Omartian laid it out in plain English and I will never pray the same again. There are ways to pray over your life to get specific and talk to God like he wants you to come to him and ask specifically for the things that are needed in your life to become a better Christian and person. She uses life experiences as well Biblical reference to show the relevance of the topic. I pray at a drop of a hat now and talk to God like I have never talked to him before. Stormie Omartian is an anointed and a powerful writer she speaks from the Word of God and uses what she knows helped her to help others. Women do not know how much the power of prayer can influence your marriage, and just your life period. I would recommend this book to any woman in their walk with Christ it draws you closer to him and helps you get all you can out of life.

This is an absolutely awesome book for anyone. It justgets right down to the facts that God wants us to know and I love how it teachs us to pray the scripture back to God as we talk to him. I plan to do a Bible study with this book and the study guide that goes with it. We all need to learn Bible verses so that wecan use them to fight Satan's attacks on us.
