This book, the second in the Peleg Chronicles, finds us back in the company of Lord McDougal and Fergus Leatherhead as the death hunt begins. But the outcome is not what one would expect. Can they escape? Will they find the foundlings before the Dragon Priests do?
Our noble heroes must put all their hope in the Lord's mercies, while they travel forward by faith. They are the Paladins, the courageous protectors of the weak, and a light to those that would seek their demise.

The Excitement Continues!
Date:October 30, 2011
Bunch Of Wilsons
There's been several times where I've read the first book in a series then was disappointed with the second. Thankfully, this was NOT the case here. Picking up where Foundlings left off, Paladins is equally as exciting, introducing several new characters who I quickly fell in love with (especially the beautiful Lady Mercy!). My only frustration was that I had to wait a year to get my hands on the third and final book! Paladins is an awesome book which I recommend for anyone who loves adventure. It's perfect for the whole family (but beware...bedtime may be delayed on more than one occasion!) Once again, excellent story, Mr. Harding!

An excellent sequel to an already great book!
Date:April 2, 2011
Matthew Harding left us off at a thrilling cliffhanger in his first book Foundlings. So when the sequel, Paladins, finally came out I was very impatient to get my hands on it! Foundlings was my favorite fiction book ever--exotic time setting, creatures that seemed like fantasy but are based on historical facts, unique characters ranging from a fearful dwarf to creepy dragon priests, and most importantly the godly examples and scripture woven throughout the book. All in all I didn't think it could get any better--well, Mr. Harding proved me wrong! He took everything I liked about Foundlings to a whole new level! I've read Paladins three times and I like it better every time I read it. The only bad thing is that it leaves even more anticipation for the next book. Not only does it leave you off at an exciting part, but it is also about to unveil a mystery!
Overall I am extremely impressed with Paladins and would recommend it to any teen or young adult. I can't wait for the third book...and his next series (hint, hint:)).
