A beautiful book of old-fashioned poems. I will warn that they put the nicer poem towards the front of the book.

I believe it is a rare writer who can speak so well to so many different audiences. Robert Louis Stevenson is probably best known for "Treasure Island" a great adventure for young readers. He also wrote amazing novels that are well known and loved. But this children's collection is fantastic. I was once working on a reading program to support kids that were struggling with reading. I was working with a 8 year old girl from Mexico and she absolutely loved this book. Watching her gave me an appreciation for this collection I wouldn't have had otherwise.
