This curriculum is the 'old school' type learning style. It's all about diagraming to help understand the english language. It's in a cummulative format, building upon each concept as the year progresses. This is the second year that I have used this curriculum and both my children and I love it! It was challenging for my children at first because they were coming out of a public school where grammar wasn't being taught. Because of the style of teaching they are now doing exceptional!

I am on my last homeschooler and just start using this product. What an excellent way to teach grammar. It has been much easier for my daughter to pick up on the noun and verb usage. I would definately recommend this!

I love this simple method to teach grammar. The concepts are introduced one at a time, so it is easier to master it before moving on to the next one. My daughter loves it too.

As a college English teacher and a homeschooling mom, I searched long to find a solid curriculum that taught the concepts methodically. This curriculum does the job well. My children understand the logic of grammar without me speniding all my time with them. I have been able to help college students make sense of grammar when it never made sense before. I highly recommend Easy Grammar.

I have this book along with the textbook. I use both very nicely. I use the text with the answer keys in it and my son uses this workbook to easily follow along.You could also use just one of them, maybe if you can photocopy. The textbook however has the answeres.

I like the Easy Grammar books. Easy Grammar presents a clean, well put together format. Students learn prepositions first and cross those out in the sentences then they move on to subject noun, verb phrases,etc. Text is in larger print also, so makes it easier on the eyes to read.
