Review 1 for Quitter: Closing the Gap Between Your Day Job and Your Dream Job
Very practical book
Date:January 19, 2013
This book gives good practical advice on the importance of holding on to your day job, doing good work for your employer and not making foolish decisions. Even if I never reach my "dream job" I am now more motivated to do not just good but great work for my employer.

Review 2 for Quitter: Closing the Gap Between Your Day Job and Your Dream Job
Good Recommendation for Taking the first Steps
Date:July 19, 2011
The author writes about his experience of getting his dream job with Dave Ramsey and draws from it a formula for success. His recommendation to "start with what you have and build from there" seems to be a conservative way to start, and at the same time a very doable first step. The author seems empowered by having taken "the bull by the horns" and doing something toward making his dream come true. I would, however, have appreciated more detail on how to find out what my calling or "dream job" is. Author is entertaining and uses many modern references which seemed aimed at Gen-X'ers (like me) who are about to (or already have) hit a wall in their career. He also projects a lot of hope and actionable items that you can use to make progress toward your dreams.
