Powerful Insights; Understand Why; Hope For the FutureBuy at least 2 copies of this book to keep and give away. Pastors, church leaders, working with seniors: Buy 10! God will send you across the path of people who need it. The book is balanced, filled with wisdom & insight, easy-to-read, encouraging, practical, & helpful. Based on solid research, the book presents hope for healing but provides more than just a "healing viewpoint". Youll go beyond understanding this disease to the Bible, plus the authors new insights. The chapter, "A Sound Mind", is worth the whole bookwhy this generation has experienced a 9,000% increase in Alzheimer's based on Bible exposition, quality research, & enlightened reasoning. I thought, "WHY HASN'T ANYONE ELSE (that I know of) thought of that?!" -- ground-breaking conclusions. If you have a charismatic or Pentecostal viewpoint, youll not be disappointed. But if you don't, this book still will speak to you because of its insight and balance. Its not written to expound a particular doctrine but to address a ravaging disease from a Biblical viewpoint and it succeeds well enough to be in the home of every person. For those with Alzheimer's, youll get practical helps on how to begin praying and thinking. The author believes it's God's perfect will for us to live in healing and health. If you believe differently, that wont hinder you from gaining much from the book. For example, could your lifestyle increase your risk for Alzheimer's? You'll know the answer by the time you finish the book. Its only 54 pages ... easily readable and quickly understood -- even by those new to the Bible. As a pastor, I found much help in it -- and I've been studying the Bible all my life. I found insight that I had never before considered. Even if you don't believe the Bible, this book will still help you because of the insight it gives about Alzheimer's and why it has attacked so many people.Buy it now

I like this book. The author includes the spiritual perspective with this disease. As a practicing physician of more than 30 years, I know the influence and importance of one's optimistic faith in relation to his or her healing and well being. The author correctly reminds us that this disease should be included in spiritual warfare. Arm yourself with the verses that Sheila gives us from God"s word-and be fearless.
