They're basically colored pencils. You have to go back and forth quite a few times to get them to high light.

I love these! They do not "bleed" on to the next page. That was the most important thing to me, especially as i tend to over highlight at times.

I use this highlighters not only when studying scripture but for any and all studies where I wish to highlight something. They don't run or smudge. Love them.

I enjoy these highlighters because the augment my worship and devotional reading without obscuring or bleeding through the fragile Bible pages. I also enjoy the fact that 4 colors are included.

I gave this to a friend as a gift and she loved them. The dry highlighters are perfect for the fine paper of her bible and it's good that it doesn't bleed through and still highlights the text.

These are not markers, they are more like colored pencils and work great in your Bible. My teenage daughter is using them for her artwork and loves them!

In the olden days, we used colored pencils to mark verses and notes in the Bible. If the pencil was sharp, it would rip the delicate pages.
Now - four different colors, which work like a crayon but don't obscure the words, and highlighting sections is SIMPLE and NEAT. The mechanical advance is a great feature, since no sharpener is needed and there is always ample color.

I really enjoy these markers for use in my Bible. They give a light color to whatever you highlight with them. The colors are very light, and just right so that the marked verses do not totally take over the page. I really like using these!!

The highlighters are "pencil" like which is not a bad idea in that they do not bleed through the paper. What is not good about it is the lead retracts rendering the highlighters useless. When you put it to paper to highlight, the lead retracts and therefore does not highlight. :-(

i wasn't sure what to expect from the description "dry highlighter" but these have exceeded any idea i had. bright color that does not "bleed thru" my bible pages, easy smooth writing, no sharpening=no waste, better than an ordinary colored pencil, in short, these are now a must have for me and they stay right beside my bible. students, get you some of these!

I have used several dry highlighters in the past, and since I no longer have a car started ordering products online and found this site. I got the 4 color pack. They were waxy, spotty, poor coverage, worse than a crayon, and the green was not even able to be seen thru. Would not recommend or purchase again.

I love these highlighters because they do not soak through the thin pages of my Bible - or any other book for that matter. I ordered multiple sets and gave them to the gals in the Bible study as Valentine's Day gifts. They all love them, too!
