I have been using this book for a men's group Bible study. We have between 25-35 men a week. It is changing Christian men into warriors for God. Read this book.

Be ready to take a serious look at your faith while reading this book. We need more pastors who are bold enough to lay out the truth and ask the tough questions! This book is a must-read for all Christians, new and old and everywhere in between. The best part is that it creates a hunger for God's Word that will drive you right to the source for all that is contained in Pastor Jan's writings.

The absolute best book on the Christian life that I have ever read, and I've read hundreds of them! I have searched for years for someone to explain to me in plain English why it is that American Christianity is, for the most part, a powerless, fruitless, and meaningless existence. Jan Hettinga has done that and more! He's made it clear why and how to be set free from that kind of existence. I praise God for using Jan to write this book! I use it to teach Christians of all ages, from teens to senior citizens, and what a joy it is to see the fire that is rekindled within them when they recognize that their lives, lived out in the Kingdom here on earth, are filled with meaning and purpose! I cannot say enough good things about this book, and best of all, you can get a discipleship training program CD from Jan's church. I have it, I use it, and I give it and the book my highest praise! The best thing I can say about it is that it has made my bible reading and study much more perceptive and intense as I now "get it"! Thanks Jan!

Follow Me provides the Christian who is prepared to be challenged to a life of discipleship, with teaching that does not compromise on what the word of God says. It brings to light misconceptions that many Christians may have on the nature of our Father's leadership and will for our lives, and assures of His love as the reason for His guiding. A highly readable book that will be valuable for every believer.

This has been the most encouraging reading experience for me in years. Hettinga's vision of life in the Kingdom of God is solidly based in scripture and presented in common sense language. He invites us to consider the possiblity that the Christian life is far more than most of us in the evangelical tradition have ever been told. His exposition of what Jesus preached in the "Gospel of the Kingsom" addresses the whole of life, not just assuring us of our Heavenly reward at the end of a life of spiritual mediocrity. This book will help any sincere seeker to integrate the whole of scripture -- not just our favorite verses -- with the honest realities of human experience with energizing results. Each chapter seems to be better than the one before. Tightly organized, engagingly written in short chapters, well illustrated, obviously tested in the trenches, don't miss it.
