I used this for a 6, 7, and 8 year old. They really enjoyed it. Some of the writing projects were a little advanced for the youngest two but it was easily adapted for them. If your kids like art, they will love these. Each tribe included two art projects which were also educational. We talked about a different tribe a week until the book was finished. They learned so much more than they would have from a textbook. And after it was over, I was surprised at their retention of the information. The projects really helped them remember different things about each tribe. Even now, months after we have finished, they still bring up things about this book. Well worth the money. Very good for multiple grade level homeschooling. They enjoyed it enough they want to do the Colonial America one next year.

We really enjoyed this study of Native Americans. Our boys are Mayan and have a natural interest in different Indian cultures. This was a perfect fit for them! It's possitive, interesting and the projects were excellent.

Great books, with lots of information about several Native American tribes. We are using this book along with Colonial America history pockets to enhance our American history study this year.
