Fernando Ortega is a much under rated musician. His gentle musical style encourages meditation of the words of God in song. The settings are peaceful and contemplative. Always a delight to listen to over and over!

I have only become acquainted with Mr Ortega's music in the last couple years, after ordering "The Shadow of Your Wings" from CBD. If you don't need a heavy beat and loudness in order to convey a depth and intensity of worship, then both this and the other album will be a real blessing. They are often understated musically, yet the quality of playing and production is excellent, while the content of the words, often biblical, and the essence of the words, comes through with that much power. Light a candle, kneel down and enter the presence of the Lord with this lovely album!

I have just about every CD put out by Fernando but I cannot say I enjoy everyone equally. A couple of them are left to be desired and I almost stopped purchasing them but his latest one, Come Down, o Love Divine, has helped change my mind. But why do some of the songs have to be so short ? Not even one minute long at times...

I love Fernando Ortega's music. The vocals as well as the instrumentals are so condusive to worship and the Holy Spirit anoints his efforts.
