I found this CD while browsing for something else, but I must say it is the best music purchase I have made in a while. The soothing melodies and challenging message presented are wonderful. "Wherever Love Leads" is one of the best mission songs I have ever heard and I plan to use it in a presentation soon. "Still" is a wonderful devotional song that brings me to tears. I could keep going, but I think I'll just encourage people to buy it and check it out for themselves!

Celtic Cry really ministers to my soul. It is very soothing, and comforting. At a time in my life when I was experiencing a lot of pain, Celtic Cry, ministered comfort and hope, reminding me that I'm not alone, and that Father God hears my prayers.

What a beautiful and inspiring work this is. I got the DVD of the same title and watching it moved me to tears. The history behind the lyrics makes these songs so very meaningful. All the voices are wonderful-Matthew Ward, Shannon Wexelberg, Charles Billingsley, and Scott Krppayne are among the best! This is melodic and worshipful music that is still contemporary.

This CD speaks to my heart and soul each time I listen to it and puts me to shame when I consider the message of the true heart of a martyr. This CD challenges me onward and upward in my daily walk with the Lord.

Wonderful music with a celtic sound that will make you want to hear more of the same. Every song has a story to tell and I've listened to each song more than once and each time I am moved. My favourite song is Rest In You sung by Shannon Wexelberg but each and every song will touch your soul.

Inspired by the sacrifices our Christian brothers and sisters made in Scotland during the 1600s, is the new album from Discovery House Music entitled Celtic Cry: The Heart of a Martyr. Scott Krippayne, Steve Siler and Tony Woods wrote most of the songs and the artists that brought these martyrs to life included Scott Krippayne, Charles Billingsley, Matthew Ward and Shannon Wexelberg.Wherever Love Leads, the debut single from Celtic Cry shows the enormous singing talents of Matthew Ward, Charles Billingsley and Scott Krippayne. The song is a dedication to the memory of Isabel Alison. Because of her undying love for God and for the gospel, she was determined not to live for herself but to die for Christ, knowing that she would soon be in His presence. With soloist Scott Krippayne, you could almost feel what it was like for Donald Cargill and hundreds like him who died for their beliefs in Still. Though they could kill his body, they could not kill his spirit, which had been forged to uncommon strength by his long, quiet hours of communion with his Savior. We should sing a song of praise to our Lord for what He has done to our soul.In The Way of the Cross, soloist Charles Billingsley, this song reminds us that the path of life is the path of Christ. Christ is our truest friend and our life is for Him.Celtic Cry: The Heart of a Martyr is an album that not only has the sounds of Celtic history but also is a sweet reminder of those who took a stand for Christ and asks us to do the same.
