Customer Reviews for Capitol Christian Music Group The Lord's Supper/Be Exalted CD

Capitol Christian Music Group The Lord's Supper/Be Exalted CD

Drawing upon two rare and early albums from John Michael Talbot, this double-album release from Sparrow records combines Talbot's "Lord's Supper" with his late 70's release "Be Exalted" and offers them together on one CD! This combination is perfect for any longstanding fan of John Michael Talbot seeking music from his early career.

Wonderful worship CD! This was an early John Michael Talbot release, with lovely renditions of the Apostles' Creed and The Lord's Prayer.

Amen to that! I've been listening for 20 years and I cry each time too (41 year old Christian bodybuilder who is normally tough as nails!), but this brings me back over and over to my Lord in a tender and beautiful way! The Holy Spirit is all over this album! Thank you JMT and Jesus!

I have been listening to The Lord's Supper for over 20 years and it moves me to the core of my soul. I cry almost every time I hear it - Literally dripping with worship. Incredible choral and string arrangements, but still accessible to those who are not usually much for classical music. Mostly, I listen to Hard Rock Christian music, but I tell you, this album is special. It reaches in, grabs my heart, and squeezes tearful, humble, worship from me. Talbot's humility and gentleness is in every note. This album is one of the very very few albums that has retained its power for me for decades. It is not just nice, it is not just pretty, it is much more - it is spiritual food. Please experience it. I doubt you will be sorry you did.
