This album is really everything you would expect from AP. Beautiful songwriting and excellent music. The sound tilts more toward his earlier folk sound than his newer releases, not that more recent entries aren't great as well. Far from it. Overall, Clear to Venus is in my opinion one of Peterson's best records.

I doubt that anyone loves the music on this CD more than I do, and I doubt there's any CD I love more. What a godly man, that sees God in every aspect of his life. Andrew Peterson appears to be the genuine article: a consumate artist and a true Christian where the rubber meets the road. Nobody else today is writing songs like these. Truth is, I just heard this CD for the first time today, and I'm lost in it. I know it will bring blessings for a long time, having been blessed by his "Carried Along" CD already for the past year. Do yourself a favor and discover Andrew's gift of making everyday life a work of priceless worship.

I would give this more, but it won't let me. Andrew Peterson is an awesome song writer and musician, reminds me of Rich Mullins. This is even better than Carried Along, which is an awesome CD in it's own right.

This is just a tremendous cd! And I'm not one that just falls in love with every cd. He has a really unique sound for Christian Music, and the lyrics are very powerful. Isn't it Love, Mary Picked the Roses and Let Me Sing are all just amazing songs. But I feel in love with almost every song the first time I listened to it, which is not a usual thing for me.

If you want to listen to great music as well as meaningful lyrics this is the artist for you. This is one of those CD's which will grab you the first time you listen to it.
