Customer Reviews for Gaither Music Group Hymns, CD

Gaither Music Group Hymns, CD

A preacher's son, Guy has always loved the old-time hymns. Now he puts his own special stamp on the songs he---and you---grew up with. Enjoy his powerhouse vocals on "Count Your Blessings," "The Old Rugged Cross," "Does Jesus Care?" (a duet with George Beverly Shea), "Nothing but the Blood," "Softly and Tenderly," and more traditional favorites.

This is my new favorite CD! I love listening to the old hymns and Guy Penrod puts a little bit of country and a lot of feeling into each song.

This CD is wonderful and should be part of everyone's CD library. I believe it has an annointing over it either because of the songs or the artist or most likely both. I sincerely hope Guy Penrod does another as I am sure there are more wonderful old hymns.
