Tooth & Nail Records The Silver Cord CD

What is the Classic Crime? History is filled with heroes that made the ultimate sacrifice and martyrs who died for their cause. Whether their actions were viewed as "criminal" in their day was irrelevant. From those fighting against injustice to those who stood up for the folks who don't fit in, dying for one's beliefs or one's art is the Classic Crime. "Music has a profound effect on the listener. It even has the power to lift spirits and change lives," reasons Classic Crime singer Matt MacDonald. "If we can see our music change a life for the better, than we've been paid in the kind of way we hope to be.

Would give 10 stars to this album! Their first CD was really good, but this one is simply incredible! Favorite songs are : JUST A MAN, GRAVEDIGGING (music is amazing), SALT IN THE SNOW, ABRACADAVERS and GOD & DRUGS (I love it!). THE BEGINNING (A SIMPLE SEED) is also very beautiful and pretty powerful, a perfect end to this masterpiece! One of the best groups out there in my opinion, probably my favorite one! Great job guys! Can't wait for the next album!

This album was just fantastic. I love every single track. It is very evident that this band has matured since their first cd. The guitars were better, the lyrics were better, the dynamics were better, and the vocals were also better. Matt McDonald has a good voice and I thought it was even better on this album. I really like how the album kicks off with a short song "The End" and then goes straight into "Just A Man". I thought that the best songs on this album were "Salt In The Snow" "God and Drugs" and "The Beginning" Over all I thought the whole album was just great.
