This CD was my intro to Andrew Peterson. His music has a variety of excellent musical accompaniments on fiddle, banjo, piano, etc. It reminds me of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. His lyrics are very poetic, appreciative of nature, thought provoking. For the Christian they are biblically sound. Some songs have a stronger Christian message than others. They would not be offensive to non-Christians. I like Peterson's understated style. The music is at times contemplative, at times upbeat, but never becomes unnecessarily loud and rocky. I will look for more music by this artist!

Andrew Peterson's work is very soothing and fun to listen to. His work is truly thought-provoking with an uptempo best. The one thing I truly admire in his music and lyrics is that it is unique to him and his worship for the Lord comes from the common at a deep spiritual level.
