Over the nearly 50 years J.D. Sumner spent singing Gospel Music around the world, he helped develop what has become a vibrant, growing musical artform. His vision and influence led him to become, among many other things, a founding memeber of the Gospel Music Association. He and The Stamps have earned multiple honors including a Grammy and Dove awards for their Southern Gospel music. J.D. also holds the Guinness Book world record as the lowest bass singer in history!
