Over the nearly 50 years J.D. Sumner spent singing Gospel Music around the world, he helped develop what has become a vibrant, growing musical artform. His vision and influence led him to become, among many other things, a founding memeber of the Gospel Music Association. He and The Stamps have earned multiple honors including a Grammy and Dove awards for their Southern Gospel music. J.D. also holds the Guinness Book world record as the lowest bass singer in history! This collection features 25 songs recorded by J.D. Sumner and The Stamps between the years of 1968 and 1992.

This traditional southern gospel is very happy music. You get in a joyful mood by listening to the Stamps!
