I find that Robin's music takes a few hearings to fully appreciate. In his music, he is a thoughtful interpreter of the Scriptures. Arise and Shine on the album East of the River offers a "present, but not yet" view of the Advent of Christ. It reflects the reality of Christ's first coming and the reality to yet come at His second coming.Like "The Wonder of the Cross" on another album, "Arise and Shine" breathes new life into Advent and Easter.Fortress, Lost and Found, I am Persuaded, At the dawning and God Arise offer comfort and hope in the face of troubling times.

An awesome worshipful CD from a truly gifted artist. Different from the revival CDs but I would say even better.

Very different from the Revival in Belfast Cds - This is a new studio album. There is a very strong Celtic sound with very singable songs especially 'Heaven's Gates' and 'Fortress'. A refreshing change from the plethora of 'soft rock' worship so prevalent today. Highly recommended
