I know this album is 5 years old, but I had to review it. This is by far one of the best albums I have ever heard in my life! J.R. is a hundred times better than John Legend by far... Every song is awesome and "We Need You", I was absolutely hooked when I 1st heard it. I replayed it a countless number of times. It sounds like a mix of Psychedelic Furs & Coldplay to me. I hope he will come out with something else soon. To hear music this awesome with lyrics giving glory to ALMIGHTY GOD, is priceless. This man is anointed.

I've never heard an album that was Christian hip hop like this. I love techno and feel that some of the songs had techno beats and rhythms. It's so nice to have a Christian Music outlet to listen to that I don't have to turn off or down when my kids are not around. My husband gave me this as a gift. We had both never owned any of his previous albums, but bought this one because my husband loves Cross Movement Records. He said that he will purchase his older albums next.

this album is so tight I just have to give it another review "you chose me" is exactly what I expected from JR the intro song is just as bumpin as the intro song on the first album I am beginning to like "we need you" a lot more but for me "you chose me" takes the cake after the way he ended "beautiful light" his vocals on "God of peace" and "just for me" from the first album this hits the nail on the head as far as what I expected I think JR showed a different side on "not a slave" had more energy than his whole first album on "rockstar" and "ridaz" but most of all I like the fact that he fervently lifts up Jesus instead of just saying "him" or just "God" he lets you know start to finish that it is all about Jesus and that he is the only solution to all of life's problems I am looking forward to seeing many reviews about this album and I will definitely be looking forward to a third album

I finally got the new album and a few songs I liked right away reminded me of the JR from the first album some I still have yet to get into but overall I think JR is one of the top best gospel R and B artist vocally I have ever heard but most importantly of all his music ministers this album should get no less than a five star rating.
