INSANE!!! this is one of the best albums ever!!! I love how Demon Hunter sticks to their signature sound while making this album distinct from the rest and varied. definatly buy this ablum. my only complaint is that one of the craziest songs (LifeWar) is so short. it would have been an amazing full length song!!! but that is the only minor compaint i have.

The music is different, as it is heavier but it is intense! It still has that Demon Hunter sound to it. Another superb CD by Demon Hunter!

another very solid DH album, not sure if it's there best cause there other albums are really awesome as well, but it's definately up there, probably the best slow song yet with "Driving Nails", "Collapsing" is a really good single probably the best song on the album. "Tie This Around Your Neck" is the strongest heavy song in my opinion. also this album has better lyrics in my opinion than some of the others, easier to interpret. DH4EVER!!!

This is the first cd from DH that I've bought. All I can say is WOW!! I've listened to some Christian metal before and I have to say for the most part I hate metal, RED is the closest I get. Demon Hunter is different. They have a message and they scream it with passion. It's time for Christians to rise up spread the word of God and stop bowing to our corrupted society. I can't wait to get their other cds.

One of the most incredible releases I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Demon Hunter has created a modern metal masterpiece and quite possibly the most brilliantly heavy and aggressive record of their career. The album has some of the most ferocious and intense tracks that I have ever heard in metal (Descending Upon Us, LifeWar, The World Is A Thorn) as well as some of the most beautiful pieces of melody that I have ever heard in any form of music (Driving Nails, Blood In The Tears). This is also one of the most diverse records that I have ever heard (even for metal). Whether it is the death growls or hardcore punk chorus of Just Breathe, the black metal screams in This Is The Line or the blisteringly thrashy title track, this record has it all. Although I typically only recommend Demon Hunter to people who like heavy metal music, I would have to recommend this record to anyone who enjoys listening to skillfully passionate music. Album highlights would have to be every song mentioned in the review, as well as every song that was not. p.s. If you have never heard any of Demon Hunters material before, I recommend buying all of their albums immediately (including 45 Days/Live In Nashville). You will not be disappointed.
