Emi Cmg Distribution The Weak's End, Compact Disc [CD]

The debut album from Emery captures their enthusiams and emotions from the very first tune. Not only are they recapturing the definitive meaning of the "Emo" genre by abounding deep emotion between their intense variance in dynamics and layered vocal beauty, but their feelings are backed by passionate beliefs in love, faith, and hope, making their emotions not only compelling, but full of genuine sentiment as well.

Awesome music! This is one of the best debut albums I have heard before. The honest truth to it though is that the lyrics really aren't all that Christian. There are some references to God however so God is not completely shut out of the picture. Emery really showed how talented they are with this album. The combination of backup vocals and screams were just amazing and the guitars were very good as well. Walls is a very strong song to kick the album off with and songs such as "Fractions" and "As Your Voice Fades" keep the album fresh and at times very in your face type of rock. This album is very very good.

If I could I would give this album more than a five. It was in my CD player in my car for almost a month straight when I first got it. A complex music style that can be appreciated by any musician. A great choice if you like hard music but nothing that will scream your ear off. Very Melodic and soothing at parts but rocks you into feeling all sorts of emotion. The kind of feeling that you could only dream to cause as a musician. I would definitely recommend this album to anyone.

Definitely a great album. At first I thought these guys music would be much harder. The first track on the CD is very hard compared to the rest of the album, which is very melodic and mellow most of the way through. This is the epitomy of emo in my view, not screaming all the time and being able to consistently hear the emotion put into each lyric. A very great album, but don't be fooled into thinking it's straight hardcore.
