Southern Gospel music enjoys a rich history, full of groundbreaking artists and beloved legends. Eight such artists were remembered during a moving tribute as a who's who of performers came together during NQC 2004. You'll hear moments never recorded before... members of Greater Vision, Legacy Five and Mark Trammell Trio singing "Champion of Love," the Crabb Family with Reba Rambo singing "I've Never Been This Homesick Before" and Chris Freeman, Mike Bowling and Jason Crabb on "The Lighthouse." This is a once-in-a-lifetime recording... don't miss it!

Too much talk, not enough music!
Date:January 3, 2011
I bought this CD to hear the music of these "Gospel Immortals". Instead, this CD is a recording of a formal recognition ceremony, and what I disliked is the lengthy, redundant introductions of the various artists. If I am to be sold a collection of great hits, if I must, I can settle for a minimal introduction of the artist(s) for a few seconds--but please do not give me a prolonged trip down memory lane and tell me redundantly me how much you liked Vestal Goodman's cooking, and how each of the artists changed your life. I paid money for the music, not "This Is Your Life"
