I like Christafari and have many of their CDs; this is an very nice reggae offering from Avion, wife of Christafari's front man Mark Mohr, as well as their bass player. These are mellow to melodic reggae songs that are easy on the ears; Avion's vocals are not going for diva like belting; more Sade-ish in style. Songs like Let it go, which tell us to cast our cares to Jesus, Grace and Peace, which echoes the welcome and wishes the Apostle Paul wrote in his epistles, and Reggae Music, a song showing her love for Gospel reggae, are some of the nice tunes to listen too. Upbeat nembers like Never Let me down (with Manifest) and Hang On, also will have you bouncing while praising the Lord. All in all, a solid, nice effort from Avion, but I could've done with the Let it Go remix, which sounds too noisy and distracting. This is still a good reggae offering for those that like Christian music in this genre.

Wow! Never really thought much about Reggae music, til I listened to Christafari and then Avion Blackman. I must say, I totally love her music, her voice, her message. I have listened to some of her other music and was very impressed with her sound. If your new to Reggae, then I suggest you give both Avion Blackman and Christafari a chance. Great CD that I think truly blesses our Savior Jesus Christ!
