If you are looking for a Christmas song that will bring the focus back to Jesus and the wonder of why He came, this is it! Unlike most other Chrismas songs, this song helps us to remember that the whole point that Jesus came and was born was to die so that we might live! Most people know about Jesus' birth, but few understand his death and atonement, which was the plan from the beginning! The whole gospel message is summed up in this one powerful song. A perfect tool for evangelization or to strip off all the comercialization and fluff that our society has become enamored with. After all, as the song says, Christmas really is about the Cross!

I have to admit I had never thought of the birth of Christ as closely compared to his being crusified for our sins until I listened to It's About The Cross. Such a great message anytime of the year, but especially at Christmas when we only tend to think of the birth of the baby, instead of the true meaning as to why Christ was born.

The sound quality of It's About the Cross is wonderful. I'm glad there is a demo with the purchase and 3 different keys. My daughters and I sang it at church Christmas morning and received many compliments. Glory to God for the message!

The lead part is relatively easy to sing with this accompaniment CD, and you can learn to harmonize by listening to the background vocals. High, medium and low key give you the option to sing in your range. What I like most about this CD is that it sounds a lot like the original.
