We have enjoyed Michael Card's Hymns CD since it respectfully honors God. It is full of traditional hymns with meaningful lyrics and instruments which have a flavor of Ireland.

Michael Card can be considered a classic CCM minister of music. He must be close to hitting his fourth decade in the Christian music genre. I don't think I have ever purchased anything released by Mr Card that has not blessed me greatly. But, for my money's worth, his specialty is in the Celtic type of offerings such as Starkindler, and now this Hymns disc. He seems to be very comfortable in this type of worship, as indeed he should be, as he brings it home so masterfully. There are just a few handfuls that can truly pull it off as Michael Card does- This is a Hymns album worth investing in. You'll be blessed if you do!

I had always enjoyed/encouraged by Michael Card's talent/love for God and now my husband understand why. I gave him this for his Christmas gift, he absolutely loved it. Michael didn't change the music of the hymns just added some new instrument to it..that's the way to go if you are singing songs that's written by someone else. We really enjoyed it.
