This CD is very lively bringing the beauty of Jew and Gentile coming together in Messiah such as in the song “We’ve Come Together”. It is also seen in her lyrics of Hebrew, Arabic, and English which reminds us that God brings the nations to unite in worship of Him once saved by His grace and that is a fulfillment of prophecy in Revelation 5:9 “And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;” (KJV) My favorite song on this CD is “Yeshua Malkeinu” since it reminds me of how Jesus came to earth and is today at the right hand of God in glory that was His before the foundation of the world. “Be Exalted” is a beautiful way of putting Psalm 57, how God is exalted above the heavens to music. “Kovei Adonai” reminds me that my God neither faints nor becomes tired just like it says in Isaiah 40:28. Keep in mind as you listen to any of Karen’s songs, they are found in several Scripture passages so it is very easy to connect the songs with the right verses if you know your Bible well. I personally have grown spiritually from her music which has taught me much about hiding God’s Word in my heart. Karen’s music and voice are both soothing and refreshing to the soul of the believer. I highly recommend Karen Davis’ music for her meaningful lyrics, for those interested our Jewish Messiah Yeshua, and the Messianic faith. Her music helps us meditate on the Lord and His attributes in hearing Scripture put to music.
