I purchased this CD and did notice that this is not standard country; but rather, it has more of a European country sound. More or less this is upscale country where German influences are definitely noticeable in some songs. This album is awesome and I would definitely recommend it!

Spectacular production by Karen Peck & her group. This CD is incredible in that it intertwines the original bluegrass/country with strong German musical influences. Every song in this album is superior in that the lyrics, vocals, and music are excellent. Furthermore, every song has a wonderful German sound to it...and it is amazing how Karen Peck was able to produce an album which combined Southern Gospel with European influences. Best album of the year (in my opinion).

Totally awesome! This is Karen's best project yet. The vocals are pure and the music is crisp and up tempo. This is a perfect example of how German country music should sound. Although this album is in English, the musical influences (and artists) have a strong traditional European background which influences this album to have a rich Austrian sound. Wonderful!

Awesome!!! Karen...you and your group out did yourselves! This CD is amazing! All of your CDs are great...but this is one of your best ones! Get this CD...it is incredible!
