It's hard to take what isn't broken and successfully fix it anyway, but this CD does an excellent job of honoring faultless original melodies and lyrics and rewrapping them in newer musical styles. I wish these were on the radio. And, I love that I can discern both the melody and harmony lines, and can therefore sing along to either. Thank you! When does No. 3 come out?

I was cleaning the house the first time I put this CD into the player. Of course, I was blasting the volume because I was alone. When my husband came home, he was smiling, and went over and restarted the CD from the beginning again. Oh, and did I mention he is not saved yet? Even he liked the bluesy feel of it. Thank you for making this CD

I like the old hymns and wanted to find a CD with them on it. what I got with Bart Millard's CD was a mix of the old with a new twist. I was surprised at how much I liked the spin Bart put on the classic Hymns. this is a great CD and I would highly recommend it.

Heard this CD in a hair salon. Recognized the excellent voice of Bart Millard from the Mercy Me group. I was put off for a minute because he was singing hymns and I had to open my mind to his rendition of the "old sacreds". By the end of the CD I realized I loved every cut. His voice singing the comforting words I have heard my whole life and the music was incredibly relaxing and created a spiritual awakening. I love this CD and think you will too.

LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!!!My fiance and I are both lovers of country music, but it's really hard to find anything that has that same feel with Christian lyrics. I also enjoy the old hymns, especially now that I'm old enough to appreciate the lyrics!!!Anyway, I hope the country thing doesn't turn anyone away. Bart Millard has a great voice, and what he's done with the arrangement of these hymns is not to be missed.Track 2--MawMaw's Song--is wonderfully sweet!!! I hope we hear it on the radio soon.Great work!
