You simply cannot categorize this band into any musical genre, nor can you say they sound like some other band. Their music is so unique that I can't even begin to categorize it. I am usually a fan of hardcore music but for some reason I enjoy this music very much. Aaron Weiss is one of the best lyricists I ever heard and the fact that his lyrics have pratically no choruses gives the music an even more unique feel. Also, the instrumentation from all of the band members is amazing. Get this if you feel like being wowed by a band and their music. Best songs (in my opinion) are, "January 1979", "Tie Me Up! Untie Me!", and "Disaster Tourism".

This is an exceptional album. However, it is not for the non-adventurous types. When I said it was exceptional, I meant it was an exception. The only label I can think to give me without You's music is free verse. The lyrics are very deep and thought provoking, and the music is engaging; it fits almost any mood. I recommend that you give the clips a good listen or two before you decide to buy the album, just because the music is so unique. This band should have a long future and a great impact.

I currently have Mewithoutyou's EP "I Never Said I was Brave," album "A->B : Life," and the latest "Catch For Us the Foxes." It is refreshing that the different alubms are unique unto themselves- each cd unfolds a new chapter in the story of mewithoutyou. "Catch for us the Foxes" is a continuation of A->B : life. It is in a sense more poetic and melodic than their previous work. Aaron's lyrics continue to be intelligent, saturated with meaning and emotion. What makes this album stand out for me, is the instrumental backing to the vocals. Mewithoutyou is extremely talented, and "Catch us for the Foxes" reflects a maturing sound instrumentally for the band. I recommend this cd for people who are hungry for true "artistic" music, and who are looking for a band that goes beyond mainstream music today. **Keep praying for mewithoutyou, as I believe there is a ministry behind the music.
