This cd is almost like a continuation of their previous album, except they slow down a little bit on this one with songs like Again, Missing, and Arise. Beautiful Bride, The Chasm, and In the Dark pick it up some more with astounding harmony between the guitars, drums, and vocals. Memento Mori is a little deeper in that all of the songs revolve around the Passerby Army, which small paragraphs are written about inside the cover instead of lyrics, explaining the spiritual meaning if each song. As far as the music goes, I think their first album was better, but this one is still pretty good.

This is one of the most powerful CD's in both mainstream and Christian music genres! Hard Rock/Metal balanced with Lacey Mosley's delicate, sometimes stormy vocals and her reflective, Scripturally-inspired lyrics make this an album to remember and BUY!!! Also, a hidden fifteenth track is available by rewinding Memento Mori to -4:28, entitled Uncle Bobby! Enjoy!

Flyleaf has definately outdone themselves this time. Well worth the wait!!! They are currently on tour with Paper Tongues.. Check them both out!! Paper tongues is also off the chain!

I'm extremely excited about the new Flyleaf album. Such a talented group and a lead singer who reminds me of such an innocent soul but when she opens her mouth and sings literally her heart out , I am truly moved! Can't wait to hear this album upon release! If you like strong lyrics, strong vocals with a touch of innocence and hard rock then this is the band for you!
