Glad to get the first review here! I have to admit that TCC is my favorite group out there. When I first listen to this CD, I was a bit disappointed... in fact I was not sure what to think of it. Their previous one (The Silver Cord) was so incredible... But the more I listen to this new one, the more I like it too! It's different for sure, but it is really really good! Favorite songs are : CHEAP SHOTS, FOUR CHORDS, THE HAPPY NIHILIST (listen to the music, simply incredible!), THE COUNT, DIFFERENT NOW and BROKEN MESS. Wish they could do a few more slower songs, Matt has such an amazing diversity in his voice.
