Challaging believers to practice a lifestyle of prayer and fasting that unlocks the power and glory of heaven into a much needed, sin-sickness-pain filled world. The practice of such a lifestyle also enables believers to become more sensitive to hear from God and to follow His plan and purpose and to know God's Will in life circumstances. The benefits it brings unproportionally outweight the little sacrifice in the flesh. it won't be easy to start/do. Just keep at it and don't give up. i couldn't do without food the whole day. so i started with "no candies, softdrinks, desert, or any sweet" fasting for 3 days. it's not much, but it's a start. and God sees my effort and helps me along the way. i do feel I am more spiritual keen and that my prayer is more focus during the fast. I will start a 'liquid diet only" fast next time - essentially doing the "Daniel's Fast". The principle and its practice can bring you the breakthrough that you always desired but couldn't achive through regular prayer.
